The V-2 app has been developed for pilots to calculate crew and passenger supplemental oxygen requirements when flying into high elevation airports. The app can be used for both pressurized and non-pressurized aircraft. The app uses aircraft part numbers to determine oxygen flow rates at 1000 foot increments. It then analyzes the various different oxygen consumption profiles the pilot may need to consider such as a decompression, medical oxygen, or oxygen used for smoke/fire event. It then sums up the total requirement, analyzes what part of that is usable oxygen, and then converts liters into a dispatch oxygen PSI specific to that aircraft. Should the oxygen requirement exceed the aircraft capacity it also will tell the user how much additional oxygen is required in liters. This is a must have iPad only app for operators who fly into airports whose elevations are 7000 feet or higher.
